Overview
You notice that your People Search is not working and the following error occurs: “Hmmm...can’t reach this page.“ The issue only occurs when using the Typeahead Quick Search after selecting the People tab.
Solution
Prerequisite: BRICK access required.
Typeahead Search Configuration is performed through BRICK. The issue may be caused by incorrect settings that redirect the user to the wrong Result Source location. This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to review/correct the Redirecting URL in BRICK.
The default Employee Directory Configuration is as follows:

- Vertical Name (LABEL_NAME): The label that appears on top of the search tab.
- Result Source (RESULT_SOURCE): The resulting source to be used for the search vertical.
- Search More (REDIRECTING_URL): The URL that the user will be redirected to if a search is triggered (please note that this format must be the full site collection name).
Solution Steps
To find the actual Employee Directory location on your Bonzai Site, please follow the instructions:
- Navigate to Employee Directory on your Bonzai Intranet page.

Take note of the Employee Directory URL. Example A:
https://<COMPANY NAME>.sharepoint.com/sites/people
To check the Typeahead Quick Search configuration in BRICK, please follow the instructions:
- Login to BRICK: https://cloud.brick.bot/login.
- Navigate to Configure and click on the Gear icon.

Scroll down to the Search section to review Search Typeahead Config. Example B:

- Update the Redirecting URL (bold text in Example B) to ensure it matches the Actual Result Source URL (bold text in Example A: “/sites/people”).
- Click Save.
