Overview

You are creating a news article, and you encounter an "Invalid field name" error. The field ID is {9da97a8a-1da5-4a77-98d3-4bc10456e700} /Pages

Solution

  •  Go to the Library Settings for the Pages Library 
  •  Under Content Types you will find the list of content types associated with your library.
  • If the Page content type is not present please add it.

  • You should then see Page as a content type.

  • This is an example of a working Pages Library.


Testing

Test by creating a news article and see if the error reappears.

  1. Read the following articles and to ensure the news pages are configured accordingly:
  2. If the news page and news site are configured accordingly, and the issue is still there, contact Bonzai support and share the following:
      • When did this issue start?
      • What changes were recently introduced to the Bonzai Site?
      • Is the issue happening only on a particular site or also on other pages?
