Overview
To remove Bonzai from your UAT and production environment, you wish to run the Delete site collection function instead of going through all of the uninstall steps listed on How to completely remove/ uninstall Bonzai Intranet from Sharepoint.
Solution
It is recommended that you follow the steps listed on How to completely remove/ uninstall Bonzai Intranet from Sharepoint in order to ensure that no Bonzai component remains on your Sharepoint environment. However, if you wish to run the Delete site collection function instead of using all of the uninstall steps, please ensure that you check the farm level services and features after removal to confirm that no Bonzai components remain.
To delete a site collection by using Central Administration

Verify that you have the following administrative credentials:
- To delete a site collection, the user account that is performing this procedure must be a member of the Farm Administrators SharePoint group.

Open Central Administration.

On the Central Administration website, click Application Management.

On the Application Management page, in the Site Collections section, click Delete a site collection.

On the Delete Site Collection page, in the Site Collection list, click Change Site Collection.
The Select Site Collection webpage dialog appears.

In the Web Application list, click Change Web Application.
The Select Web Application webpage dialog appears.

Click the name of the web application that contains the site collection that you want to delete. Relative URLs of sites in the site collections of the web application that you have selected appear on the Select Site Collection dialog.

Click the relative URL of the site collection that you want to delete, and then click OK.

Read the Warning section and verify that the site collection information is correct.

On the Delete Site Collection page, click Delete.
Check the farm level services and features after removal to confirm that no Bonzai components remain.
