Resolving Column Errors "OwlSpotlightPageContacts does not exist"

Overview

You see the error "OwlSpotlightPageContacts does not exist" when accessing the Employee Spotlight page. You are on Bonzai v2.2.12

 

Solution

This error indicates that the Spotlight Page Contacts column is missing for the Library Settings of the affected page. 

  1. Navigate to the page experiencing the error.
  2. Navigate to Settings Gear > Edit Page.
  3. Select Page > Library Settings from the top ribbon.
  4. Scroll down to the Columns section and check if "Spotlight Page Contacts" exists.
  5. If not, click on “Create column” and input “OwlSpotLightPageContacts” as the column name. 
  6. Choose the following configuration settings:
    1. Type of Info in Column: Person or Group
    2. Enforce Unique Values: No
    3. Allow Multiple Selections: Yes
    4. Allow Selection of: People Only
    5. Choose from: All Users
    6. Show Field: Name (with presence)
    7. Click Create
  7. Rename the "OwlSpotLightPageContacts" column you just created to “Spotlight Page Contacts.”
